SYMBOLISM

The following is a description used in interpreting symbols used by Heaven when giving messages, both public or in dreams.

Fire is always purification and love

a) Although fire is the direct reference to God's Love, its effect is realized in two ways:

1) Sanctification - God's love is always given for our sanctification and purification.

2) For those who do not love God, His love causes them a great suffering as His love transforms into God's Divine Justice!

b) Combined with other signs the symbol of fire is a reference to the grace of intercession.

c) When fire is seen with smoke, God's love, through the Divine Mercy, is a great chastisement which is usually war.

d) When an Angel is seen holding or bringing fire, it is an indication that God desires to give His Mercy - but there is a condition that must be met first, and that is usually repentance by an individual, or group of people.

e) When the Blessed Virgin Mary is see amidst flames, it is the infinite love God showers upon His Most Beloved Mother which is overflowing for the love of all souls.  She fuels God's love for greater mercy to be given through Her.

f) Blessed Virgin Mary holding flames in Her Hands is saying that by Her intercession, She labors for all souls to know and realize God's love for all.

g) Angels holding fire is a sign of indulgences given to souls by their own merit, or through the merits of others.  "Others" being those people who pray and intercede for the salvation of another person.

1) Most of the time when it is about a single person, the angel that is seen is the person's Guardian angel.

2) When it is St. Michael who is holding fire, it is a statement that tells us that St. Michael is defending God's love that is in pious souls.  And this is through the Blessed Virgin Mary.

h) A saint seen with fire teaches us that God's love gives enlightenment and wisdom to those who will respond to God's blessings.  This is for the benefit and the needs of others.

i) The Poor Souls seen within fire is a sign of our need for purification in this life, especially through acts of charity.  It is also the visual recognition of the eventuality of every individual's need to be completely pure before they will be able to enter into the Eternal Reward {Heaven}.

j) Things being consumed by fire tells us that in this sin filled world,Christ's suffering and death upon the Cross purifies and makes all things new.  Christ's Love is Fire.  For some it is a purification that consoles, while for others this same fire is a purification that punishes.

k) A ball of fire depending on other factors (signs) refers to: revelation, the future, or a warning.  Example:  A ball of fire combined with other signs - like if it has a golden color which would refer to The Trinity.

l) A ball of fire that does NOT consume reveals the Trinity together as one, as the Eternal Beginning and the Eternal End - God past, present, and future.

m) Fire and water represent the grace of God through the Holy Ghost, giving infused knowledge to teach and console. This is also a direct act of intervention by God to give man grace to defeat evil.

n) Generally, fire in the sky refers to the coming of a great chastisement.  (Note: With other signs, a fire in the sky can mean something else entirely.)

o) A river of fire refers to a great persecution against Christ's Church.

p) Tongues of fire reveal a great blessing from God with the Blessed Virgin Mary's intervention for Christ's Church.  This being extraordinary graces for defending truth.

q) Fire seen within a person's eyes has one or two meanings:

1) If the eyes are seen cloaked within darkness, this refers to hate and great evil.

2) If seen in the eyes of holy souls or the saints, it is usually to be taken as a warning for an individual, but it can also refer to a vast number of souls.

r) Fire seen over water is a reference to the ardent love for the salvation of souls.

s) Fire coming out of the earth ( such as volcanoes) identifies a great sorrow.

t) Dark smoke seen coming from a fire - usually seen over a country or continent - represents war and the death of vast numbers of people.
